What's Inside The Cookout Collection

2 bottles: 2025 Zinfandel Rosé

We select a few of our Zinfandel vines to pick early (at 19 brix) to make this vivid, dry rosé. Pale rose petals and fraise du bois with a touch of petrichor on the nose. The palate is high in acid, low in alcohol, well-structured, and thoroughly refreshing. Fermented in stainless steel, then aged only in used French barriques. Though akin to Provençal rosés in the way it’s made, this wine is distinctly Californian. White Zinfandel has a good heart but a bad reputation; hopefully, we can help change that.

2 bottles: 2024 Juvenile Zinfandel

Though the vast majority of our wines are single vineyard designates, Juvenile is composed of young vines replanted in several of our best old vine sites. We tag and pick these younger vines separately, creating a distinct wine that captures the energy of youth with the wisdom of heritage.

Sourced from vines aged 6–40 years across our finest California vineyards, Juvenile delivers exuberant red fruits, traditional spice, and bright juiciness balanced by lovely, comforting softness. A seasoned ingenue that overdelivers on serious fun—refreshingly ready to drink now, yet rewarding enough to cellar.
