2024 The White Coat
White Wine

The White Coat (named for Larry’s past career as an Emergency Room physician) is composed of white Rhône grapes from four of our organically farmed Estate vineyards across California. Richly textured Roussanne from Howell Mountain, brightly structured Grenache Blanc grown in Paso Robles, mineral-driven Vermentino (also known as Rolle) from the granitic and quartz-laden hills of Amador, and touch of Viognier from the Turley Estate in Saint Helena. Lemon verbena, white peach, Granny Smith apple, honeysuckle, and yellow flowers lead into the sun-warmed sweetness of Crenshaw melon. Generous and medium-bodied, yet lifted by vivid acidity, the wine finishes bright and refreshing, balancing coastal freshness with the warmth and perfume of the mountains.
