2024 Dusi Vineyard
Zinfandel

There is a warm, sustaining quality to the Dusi Vineyard Zinfandel, reflecting both the generous Paso Robles sunshine and the vineyard's traditional interplanting of Zinfandel, Cinsault, and Carignane. Planted by Dante Dusi in 1945, it is farmed by his family to this day. The vines are head-trained and dry-farmed in mostly alluvial soil with some very large rocks. The 2024 leads with black cherry pie, dark chocolate, and the savory aroma of a perfectly seared crust on steak fill the glass. Rich and expansive, with the flavor of fully ripened fruit gathered just before the birds arrive, Dusi is comforting, substantial, and immediately satisfying.
