The main event

One of the greatest gifts of living in a small town is knowing your neighbors — and loving what they do. On April 18, we’re bringing a few of our favorite Central Coast friends together for an afternoon that celebrates craftsmanship, agriculture, and wildlife.

🍝 Etto Pasta + Mighty Cap Mushrooms

Our tasting room team recently toured the pasta factory of our friends Brian and Stephy of Etto Pasta — and let’s just say, we can’t eat just any pasta anymore. Watching their 100% semolina pasta come to life, then sitting down for lunch at their restaurant, confirmed it: there’s pasta… and then there’s Etto pasta.

They’ll be on hand sampling their locally made semolina pasta, featuring mushrooms grown just down the road by Chris and Summer of Mighty Cap Mushrooms. After touring their indoor farm and learning about the beautiful, delicious fungi they cultivate, we were even more inspired by the depth of talent in our own backyard.

Local grain. Local mushrooms. Local wine. It doesn’t get much better.

Brian Terrizzi, owner of Etto, makes fettuccine.

🦅 Pacific Wildlife Care: Birds of Prey (1–3 PM)

From 1–3 PM, volunteers from Pacific Wildlife Care will join us with a couple of rehabilitated birds of prey. Founded in 1984, Pacific Wildlife Care has spent decades rescuing and rehabilitating wildlife across the Central Coast.

Kelly, one of their founding members, a volunteer of over 43 years (and Turley mailing list member), will be bringing Denali, her Red-tailed Hawk, and Alice, her Great-horned Owl, for an up-close educational experience. It’s a rare opportunity to meet these incredible creatures and learn more about the work happening in our community to protect them.

Giving Back

We’ll be donating $1 per bottle sold on Saturday and Sunday to support Pacific Wildlife Care and their continued rescue and rehabilitation efforts.

Tastings $35 per person.
